Jim Krueger

The City’s Administrative Services Director Jim Krueger is moving on after serving the Coronado community for five years. He will return to Idaho, where he has family and a new position as chief financial officer for the City of Pocatello. Krueger came to Coronado with more than three decades of municipal finance and administrative services experience.

Prior to joining Coronado, he was the city administrator for Garden City, Idaho, and deputy city manager and finance director for Lodi, California. Krueger said he was proud to have been involved in the refinancing of the City’s redevelopment agency bonds to provide significant long-term financial benefits for the local school district and return of loan funds to the City. He said he enjoyed continuing the tradition of having balanced budgets while enhancing the financial condition of Coronado. He also appreciated his dedicated staff.

Said Krueger: “Serving the citizens of Coronado has been an immensely gratifying experience for me. The City is blessed with the financial means to provide services to its citizens that are beyond compare in California.”
