The National Weather Service National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) website (weather.gov) has issued a heat warning in Coronado with the highest anticipated temperatures over Labor Day weekend.

Students are encouraged to apply sunscreen in the morning, bring a refillable water bottle to school, and dress for warm classroom and campus conditions. Teachers will provide frequent water and restroom breaks, and our PE, lunch, and recess activities will adjust student activities accordingly.

The health and safety of our students and our staff are our top priority. We are carefully monitoring weather data and will adhere to our published Heat Day Guidelines when determining if a minimum day may be appropriate.
