Become a part of movie magic in Coronado this Summer and help Coronado students produce the first feature film at the Hotel Del Coronado in nearly forty years. The non-profit Coronado School of the Arts and local film production company, Surf’s Up Studios, have teamed up to give Coronado students this once-in-a-lifetime chance to make the feature film, “Nadoland,” at the world-famous Hotel Del. “Nadoland” is the whimsical story of a young woman’s journey home to the famous Hotel del Coronado - a century after she died.
However, we need support from the local community to bring NADOLAND alive! The Nadoland movie funding deadline is just days away - 10 a.m. on July 15 - and your financial support is needed today, to help pay for the production and equipment for this movie.
There are two ways to donate: Visit www.nadoland.com and donate online where a variety of rewards await you, or send a check to: Surf’s Up Studios, 911 1/2 F Ave, Coronado, CA 92118.
Join these local businesses in supporting “Nadoland”: The Hotel Del Coronado, Glorietta Bay Inn, Coronado Bliss, Dan McGeorge Gallery, McP’s Pub, Clayton’s Coffee Shop, the Coronado Eagle & Journal and Nicky Rottens.
A contribution of $1,000 will get you a “Nadoland” producer’s credit on the movie’s credit roll and a $1,500 donation will get you or your business an appearance in the film. Imagine watching “Nadoland” in a movie theater and seeing you or your business right up there on the big screen! Any donation is greatly appreciated.
The “Nadoland” movie will have its world premiere at the 1st Annual Coronado Island Film Festival, January 15-18, 2016, and the film will also be submitted to all the top film festivals around the world. However, it really does take the help of our community to make this happen. Thank you for your support.
