Free Summer Shuttle Returns ...

Coronado’s Free Summer Shuttle is back. As of Sunday, June 6, residents and visitors can take a free ride around Coronado. Take a courtesy ride to the beach, the Coronado Public Library, grocery or drug store, area hotels or the Community Center. Buses will run seven days a week every 15 minutes through Labor Day, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and an hour later on Friday and Saturday. The City will provide special free bus service to the Village area on July 3 and July 4 for Cays residents from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. in 30-minute intervals. On July 3 and 4, the Free Summer Shuttle in the Village will operate from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Pictured at the kick-off event were (from left) Todd Little, Discover Coronado; Marvin Heinze, Coronado City Council; Mike Donovan, Coronado City Council; Dan Orr, Coronado Mobility Commission; Howard Lee, City of Coronado; and Bill Sandke, Coronado City Council.
