I met him after he retired and worked for us at Imi-Tech. He was a man devoted to saving sailor's lives and worked hard to get Polyimide foam approved at NAVSEA. I was truly honored to have worked with him until he was diagnosed with ALS. He was a friend, mentor, and one of the best people I have ever met. (Even though I was Army). We traveled the world together, had many late night discussions (if you could call always losing to Harry a discussion). He was a man of high personal integrity, devoted to Carol and Mary, and his beloved sailors.
God rest his soul and I know he is at peace. The US Navy, America and the world is a better place because of him.

He was the best CO I had in 21 years of service.
