CHA Honored ...

Did you know the Coronado Historical Association (CHA) is the site of the American Volsksport Associaton (AVA) year-round walk? CHA Museum on Orange Avenue has served as an AVA walk start point for over 20 years.

Pacific Region Director Carl Cordes visited CHA recently to present a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of more than 20 years of hosting the walk box. David Landon, CHA President, accepted on behalf of the Association

The Coronado Beachcombers club maintains the year-round walk box and welcomes you back after the prolonged closure last year. Any AVA member can participate. When you register for the walk be sure to take time and tour the museum with its many artifacts and displays depicting the history of the Crown City. For those chasing special programs this walk qualifies for Little Free Libraries, Rails to Trails, Rock Around the Clock and Walking with America’s Veterans.
