Coronado Chamber Of Commerce To Present Annual Community Awards, July 23

The Coronado Chamber of Commerce will present their annual community awards to the Coronado Police Officer of the Year, Firefighter of the Year and Lifeguard of the Year at the upcoming “Celebrate Coronado! 2015” program on Thursday, July 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. Other scheduled award presentations include the Chamber’s Annual Business Awards and Volunteer of the Year, as well as the annual Lewis R. Hardy, Jr. award, given to an individual who has made significant business and civic contributions to Coronado. 

This community-wide celebration will take place in the Nautilus Room and Patio at the Coronado Community Center located at 1845 Strand Way. The evening will be complete with live music, cash bar, opportunities to win valuable prizes donated by local businesses, and a delicious assortment of food showcasing six chefs from local restaurants. All are welcome and encouraged to attend as the Chamber honors and recognizes the accomplishments of these local heroes, leaders and businesses, while enjoying some of Coronado’s spectacular local fare.
