Coronado Adult Education is pleased to announce that we will be offering our fee-based hobby classes again this fall. Many of our long-time instructors are back, offering art, dance, language, and music classes.

We live in an amazing city! Learn how to capture the beautiful scenery by enrolling in one of our art courses: Basics of Mosaic Art, Painting, and Digital Photography 101. Come to meet new people, or grab a friend or loved-one and take one of our dance courses: Adult Ballet, Intro to Foxtrot Dancing, Intro to Rumba Dancing, Intro to Salsa & Cumbia Dancing, and Intro to Swing Dancing. These are excellent opportunities to get back into shape while having fun! Learn or improve your Spanish with one of these three courses: Journey to 21 Spanish Countries, Questions to Help You to Converse in Spanish, and Spanish Grammar Refresh. Or learn a new skill and start taking Beginning Guitar. With all of these terrific options, there’s something for everyone!

All classes are open to residents and non-residents. For these classes, students must be at least 18 years of age or older. Classes are held on weekday evenings, beginning September, with new classes starting throughout the fall. All courses will be taught in person. NOTE: The Coronado Adult Education Program will follow public health protocols consistent with industry guidelines for the K-12 school sector.

These classes are fee-based, and may have a supply list. For more information on these classes, our career education courses, or our ESL classes, please contact the Adult Education Service Center located at the Coronado District Offices, 201 Sixth Street, Coronado, CA 92118, call 619-522-8911 or visit
