City of Coronado

The City will observe the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays on Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1, and reminds residents and businesses that, except for the Golf Course, all municipal facilities will be closed. There will be some adjusted hours for Christmas and New Year’s Eve as noted in the schedule below. Public Services crews will not sweep streets on either holiday. EDCO will not perform regular residential trash collection on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. The Golf Course will be open on both holidays and the Skatepark will be open from 1 p.m. to dusk only on New Year’s Day. Certain City of Coronado departments and services, if listed below, will close early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Here is that schedule:

City Hall: Dec. 24, open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Dec. 31, open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Aquatics Center: Dec. 24, closed; Dec. 31, open 8 a.m. to noon.

Boathouse: Dec. 24, closed; Dec. 31, open 7:30 a.m. to noon.

Community Center: Dec. 24, open 8 a.m. to noon; Dec. 31, open 8 a.m. to noon.

Golf Course: Dec. 24, open; Dec. 31, open.

Library: Dec. 24, open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Dec. 31, open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Skatepark: Dec. 24, open 2 to 5 p.m.; Dec. 31, open 2 to 5 p.m.

Spreckels Center: Dec. 24, closed; Dec. 31, closed.

Tennis Center Office: Dec. 24, open 8 a.m. to noon; Dec. 31, open 8 a.m. to noon.

Tennis Courts: Dec. 24, open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Dec. 31, open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
