The Aquatics Center, which was closed July 23 due to a shortage of chlorine, was reopened on Thursday, Aug. 12. The City has received enough chlorine to reopen the pools but with limited hours of operation to keep as much chlorine in the water as possible. High temperatures and more people in the water tend to exhaust a pool’s chlorine. To further preserve chlorine, until supplies are abundant, the Aquatics Center will be closed on weekends.

Water exercise patrons may register online starting Tuesday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m. for residents and 3 p.m. for nonresidents.

Pool hours will be as follows:

Competition Pool:

5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
