The children of Coronado just lost a prized life and football coach.

Peter Henry Hill Dunn Jr was born March 7, 1925 in Bremerton, Washington to Lt. Peter Henry Hill Dunn and Leila Scott Dunn of Washington DC. He died peacefully at his home in Coronado on Jan. 9, 2021. He was 95 years old.

Isabella was born in San Diego to Ruth Reynolds Murray and Paul Chaney Murray. Her first home was in Coronado were she was raised with her extended family of aunts and uncle and lots of cousins. She graduated from Coronado high school class of 1947.

Florence Zahn, née Fix, was the beloved wife of Irwin and dear mother of Carol (Tom) Vince, Joni Rose Diskint and Dorothy Frankel. Florence was the loving grandmother of James (Corrine), Nathaniel and Jeremy Diskint, and great-grandmother of Talia Diskint. Florence passed away on June 11.

James R. Mills, politician, veteran and renaissance man, died peacefully March 27 surrounded by his family. The cause of death was metastatic kidney cancer. He was 93.
